this week's horoscope. Oh mysterious ones, shower me with the blessings of an open heart.. shower me with the blessings of an awakened heart.
I will drink it in.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): "The question of evil," writes psychologist
James Hillman, "refers primarily to the anaesthetized heart, the heart that
has no reaction to what it faces, thereby turning the variegated sensuous
face of the world into monotony, sameness, oneness." Your assignment in
the coming week, Aquarius, is to triumph over this kind of evil in yourself.
By whatever ingenious and imaginative means you can dream up, you
must awaken your heart fully to the unpredictable, ever-shifting beauty
and ugliness you encounter. Drink it all in like a thirsty wanderer who has
just emerged from a long trek lost in the desert. [The source of Hillman's
quote is his book *The Thought of the Heart and the Soul of the World.*]

shower the blessing of things opening
here's the blessing that may be coming - thanks, rob brezny!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): While riding my bicycle through a quiet
neighborhood this afternoon, I saw two girls fiddling with the gate of a tall
wooden fence. They were frustrated because it wouldn't open and let
them inside. One kicked the gate. The other tried unsuccessfully to climb
up to reach down over the top to the latch on the other side. Finally, the
younger girl put her hand under the gate and managed to free some
obstruction on the other side. The gate opened. "I got it! I got it!" she
yelled, jumping up and down with exhilarated triumph. I foresee those
words and that emotion flying out of you soon when you, too, finally open
a metaphorical door that has been stuck.

shower down the blessing of resolution
shower down the easy and happy resolution of negotiations for my office lease and shower the blessing down of a workplace of where people support and enjoy each other andtro the space is pleasing and affordable.
shower down the blessing of a child who feels loved and is loving and who traverses the storms of adolescence unscathed and without scathing others. shower down the blessing of a pleasing relationship with my son and contentment in my home.
shower down, blessings! I am ready!

shower blessings of good friends
Shower the blessing of good friends upon me. The kind who laughter comes easily with, who there is mutual respect, fondness, warmth, and encouragement with/from. The kind where giving and receiving is in balance, the kind that don't disappear, but endure. The kind who challenge me to think, and the kind where we pull the best out of each other.
There are many of these friends, I just had dinner with three of them. Keep these blessings showering down.
thank you

the blessing of laughter
oh my. I'm grateful that Rob Breszny prompted me to do this.... to put out explicit wishes for blessings to be showered upon me. It's been working!
I'm grateful for laughter and for humor and I ask for the showered blessing of each day having something that I laugh heartily at, and that the funny outweigh the tragic threefold.
